Gord Kerr is director and founder of The Parent Involvement Centre, an organization launched in October 2005 to spearhead new research and disseminate best practices for stimulating helpful forms of parent involvement in education.

Its mission is to provide teachers, principals and leaders of school volunteer programs with strategies and resources to engage parents and the community in education in helpful ways.
